Development & Peace
To raise awareness of issues in development and undertake fundraising for developing countries.
Commitment: Social gatherings with the Victoria group Monthly meetings.
St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization whose mission is:
To live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy.

Hanti Sidra One Global Family
To enter into solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Eritrea (Horn of Africa) and South Sudan through prayer, friendship and financial support, through our charitable organization, Hanti Sidra One Global Family.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the cards will not be available in the St. Elizabeth's Church foyer as in past years. When you contact Stephanie you can make arrangements to drop off your donation and pick up your cards or have them delivered to you. All donations by cheque should be made out to HANTI SIDRA FUND. If you make a cash donation of $20.00 or more and would like a tax receipt, please fill out one of our cash donation slips or envelopes. Birthright
Birthright is taking Orders for their delicious Chocolate Fudge this November! A bit of sweet in this challenging year! The packets make great stocking stuffers or holiday gifts. Arrangements have been made for pre-paid orders to be delivered to the parish office for collection in December. Click here to the selection order form to view the delicious varieties. Anawim Aunts
The Anawim Aunts provide support and useful personal care kits containing toothpaste, deodorant, disposable razors, etc., to the people at Anawim House.
Commitment: One Sunday per month.
Bereavement Support
To support those who are grieving the loss of loved ones.
Commitment: As needed.
Transportation Ministry
The transportation ministry provides those parishioners who no longer are able to attend Mass due to a lack of transportation an opportunity to re-join the church community by having a fellow parishioner provide rides to and from church.
Commitment: As needed.
Hospital Outreach
To bring communion to hospitalized parishioners and to visit those who want visitors. Visits are done in two-person teams on Wednesdays. Orientation is provided.
Commitment: Once per month. See Ministry Schedules.
NOTE: Requests for visits to the sick in hospital should be direct to the Parish Office.
Home Visits
Visitors to Sick at Home take communion to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass and visit socially with them. Visits are done in two-person teams on Thursday mornings.
Commitment: Once per month (approx. 3 hours). See Ministry Schedules.
Visitors to Nursing Homes
Visitors to Nursing Homes take communion to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass and visit socially with them. Visits are done in two-person teams on Wednesdays
