Youth Ministry

Our God is a consuming fire.

- Deuteronomy 4:24

iGNight is an event and an experience of what it means to be a child of God. It exists for teenagers so that they can come together in friendship and fun, getting to know one another and getting to know Jesus Christ. Teens can expect to have all of their senses engaged as they experience games, skits, talks, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.

It is called iGNight because, well, it happens at night. We gather together at 6:00pm each Sunday to encounter Christ in the Mass. Then, we continue the night with activities, and environments that are designed to help us to learn the love that God has for us.

That is where the second meaning of the name iGNight comes in. The love of God is a consuming fire that can and will ignite our own souls with love and joy. It is a joy that only God can give, and it is what we are made for.

So, all teens from grades 8 through 12 in the area of Victoria, BC, Canada are invited to come to St. Joseph the Worker parish to meet one-another and to meet God.

6:00pm, every Sunday at St. Joseph the Worker Parish
